    Police Inspection – The new Borough police force was inspected by Captain Elgie on Tuesday. The men assembled outside the Town Hall in the forenoon, and had a drill. The force numbers seven, including Supt. Morgan, and Sergt. Dymond. The inspector expressed himself highly pleased with the men, and also for the way in which the books and cells were kept. He should report the force as efficient and they would receive the Government grant.
